The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team hopes the momentum gained from their buzzer-beating win over New Hampshire on January 9 will carry over to their Hartford match-up on January 13.  The Bearcats defeated the Wildcats 51-50 with a last second rebound shot by Rebecca Carmoday on Saturday, the 9tb.  The win evens BU's conference record at 1-1.

The Hartford Hawks are 5-9 overall and 1-0 in America East play.  The Hawks defeated UMass Lowell 72-59 in West Hartford in their only conference game.  Deanna Mayza leads the Hawks in scoring with 12.4 points per game.

Binghamton is led by Alyssa James who is averaging 17.2 points per game.  Imani Watkins averages 16.6 points per game while Kim Albrecht is averaging 11.5 points per contest.

The game at West Hartford, Connecticut will be aired on ESPN 1360 AM with Tim Heiman.  Air is set for 6:45 p.m.
