The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team was working on a major victory but it turned out as a road loss on Saturday afternoon.  BU was up 41-31 at the end of the first half in Providence but the Friars roared back to move to 3-0 on the season by the final score of 71-58.

Windsor native Jim Crowley earned his 300th career victory as a head coach.  Crowley, who coached at Keuka College and for the past 16 seasons at St. Bonaventure, moved to Providence to take over their head coaching duties after last season.

Imani Watkins paced all scorers with 25 points.  Jasmine Sina notched 13 points and Alyssa James also hit double figures with 10 points.

The Bearcats will be back in action on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 PM at the Events Center.  The game can be heard on ESPN 1360 AM WYOS with pregame coverage beginning at 1:45 PM.
