BU Women Face Tough Road Test

The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team is in Athens, Ohio to face the Bobcats of Ohio University tonight (Monday) at 7:00 PM (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Binghamton is coming off a home court win over Misericordia on Saturday afternoon.  The 77-54 decision puts the Bearcats' record at 4-6.  Ten players saw ten minutes or more of action for BU in that game.  Imani Watkins was the top gun with 19 points.  Alyssa James scored 12 points and Jasmine Sina added 11 more.

The Ohio University Bobcats are coming off of their only loss of the season.  They dropped a 69-46 decision to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  Prior to that the Bobcats had reeled off seven straight wins and are 7-1 on the season.

Tonight's game is the final contest before the Christmas holiday for BU.  The Bearcats host Georgian Court on Friday, December 30 at 2 PM as part of a home doubleheader.  The men's team follows with a contest against Marywood.
