The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team upped its America East record to 4-2 with a 48-40 road win at Stony Brook on Sunday afternoon.  With the loss the Seawolves fall to 2-4 in conference play.

Both BU and Stony Brook struggled from the field with each team only hitting 27 percent of their shots.  Binghamton held a 20-10 lead at the half.

The Bearcats were paced in scoring by Jasmine Sina who connected for 15 points including four three-point shots.  Alyssa Jame also had a big day as she scored 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.  It was the second double-double game this season for James.  Kai Moon finished with nine points for Binghamton.

The win was the third straight conference road win for the Bearcats.  Next up is another road game for Binghamton.  BU travels to Hartford Wednesday night for a 7 PM game.  Airtime is 6:45 on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM.
