The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team upped their America East record to 5-3 as they captured a 54-52 road win at Lundholm Gymnasium in Durham, New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon.  Imani Watkins was fouled with .06 seconds remaining and made two free throws to break a 52-52 tie and give the Bearcats the road win. Watkins finished with 35 points to key the Bearcat win.

With the win the Bearcats and Wildcats are tied in the America East standings with 5-3 slates and 14-7 overall records.  Binghamton's win avenges a a 63-61 defeat at the hands of the Wildcats at the Events Center on January 10th when Brittni Lai broke t 61-61 tie with a basket with just :02 left in the game.

Watkins continues to lead America East in scoring and is now averaging  22.3 points per game.  The win is the third in a row for the Bearcats and surpasses their 13 win total from last year.

The Bearcats begin the second half of their conference schedule with a visit to Vermont on Wednesday night.  The game begins at 7 PM and coverage starts at 6:45 with Jonny Wincott on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM.
