BU Women Beat Temple

The Binghamton University women's soccer team defeated the Temple Owls on Sunday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex by a score of 3-1.  That puts Binghamton's record at 4-2-2 while Temple falls to 2-4.

Three different women tallied goals for the Bearcats.  Leaghann Bennett, Jocelyn Acor and Allison Mack all scored for BU.  Two of the team's three goals came in the second half.

The Binghamton men lost a 4-0 match to Loyola-Chicago in Dekalb, Illinois in action on Sunday as well.  Loyola-Chicago scored three of their goals in a 1:25 minute span of the first half.  The Bearcats were unable to stage a comeback.

Binghamton falls to 3-1-2 while Loyola-Chicago climbs to 5-0-0.  The BU men host Cornell on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM.  The BU women host Bryant on Thursday at 6:00 PM. Both contests will

be played at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
