Following a two-week break in the schedule the Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team travels to Cornell to meet the Big Red. Cornell is 6-5 while the Bearcats are 4-7.  Overall in the series Binghamton holds and 8-6 advantage but the Big Red has won the last two meetings.

Binghamton has not played since December 15th when the Bearcats rolled to a 65-33 win over Nyack at the Events Center.  In that game sophomore Imani Watkins registered the University's first triple-double.  Watkins scored 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and added 10 assists.  Coming into the match-up with Cornell Watkins is averaging 16.2 points per game.

Alyssa James is quickly making her mark on the opposition.  She is averaging 16 points per game along with 8 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game which is tops among America East teams.  Kim Albrecht is having a solid senior season.  She is averaging 10.8 points per game.

Binghamton returns home to entertain Misericordia on Monday, January 4 in a 7:00 p.m. start.  The Bearcats open conference play when they travel to Stony Brook Wednesday, January 6th for a 12 Noon contest.
