The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team visted Buffalo to take on the Canisius  Golden Griffins at 7:00 p.m. November 25 and things didn't go well after a strong start.

The Bearcats moved their record to 2-2 after a crushing 74-18 victory over Cedar Crest at the Events Center on Saturday.  Canisius was 1-2 following a weekend win over St. Francis of Pa.

Canisius proved too much for the Bearcats, downing Binghamton 80-50.

The teams have met on eight previous occasions with the Golden Griffins holding a 6-2 advantage.  The Griffs have won the last two meetings. The last Bearcats' win came on November 16, 2010 at the Events Center.

Alyssa James had a double-double in The November 21 game against the Falcons.  She scored 21 points and added 10 rebounds.  Kim Albrecht and Imani Watkins were also in double figures with 10 points each.

Following the November 25 game the Bearcats head to Xavier for a 2:00 p.m. game on November 28.  The men's team is home that day for a contest against former America East foe Boston University.  Both games can be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
