The Binghamton Bearcats softball team closed out their visit to Clearwater, Florida on Sunday with a 6-3 win over Oklahoma State.  It was the program's first win over a Big 12 opponent.  The victory came in the Michelle Smith Pediatric Cancer Softball Tournament.

Home runs powered BU to the win.  Crysti Eichner smacked a two-run home run and ended up with three runs batted in while freshman catcher Sara Herskowitz ripped another two-run homer...her first as a Bearcat.  Another freshman, Rayn Gibson, went the distance to earn the win on the mound.

On Friday Binghamton shutout St. Joseph's 4-0 on freshman Rozlyn Price's three-hitter. The Bearcats head home with a 2-4 record.  Binghamton's next action will be in the South Utah Tournament when the Bearcats face the University of Nevada on March 3rd.
