BU Softball Holds Youth Day

The Binghamton University Softball Team is hoping for good weather when it opens its home schedule with a pair of games against Niagara University Thursday at the Bearcats Sports Complex.  The first pitch is scheduled for 3:00 PM.

It is also Youth Softball Day with free admission for all kids 12 and under.  Tickets are available at the Events Center Box Office.

Heading into action this week the Bearcats are 12-9 including three wins over America East foe UMass Lowell.  BU also defeated the University of Maryland by a 9-3 final earlier this month. It was Binghamton's first ever win over a Big Ten team.

Following Thursday's non-conference twin bill the Bearcats remain home to host UMBC for a three-game series this weekend.
