Paul Marco's Binghamton University men's soccer team earned a 1-1 double overtime tie at American University on Monday afternoon.  The tie puts the Bearcats record at 2-3-1 on the season while American moves to 1-4-1.

Both teams netted their goals in the second half.  Nikos Psarras scored his fifth goal of the season on an assist by Noah Luescher.  Chris Shutler made his first start of the year and made ten saves in the contest.

It was the second straight road game that went to overtime.  The Bearcats fell 4-3 in overtime at George Mason on Friday.

The contest was the fifth consecutive road game for the Bearcats.  Binghamton returns home to host Columbia University at 1 PM at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
