The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team returns to action on Saturday afternoon at 2 PM when they meet the Hartford Hawks at Chase Family Arena in West Hartford, Connecticut.  The Hawks are 2-1 in America East competition while the Bearcats are 0-2.

The Hawks have defeated Albany and UMass Lowell and were defeated by Stony Brook.  Binghamton has lost to Maine and New Hampshire.  Both teams are 9-8 on the season overall.

Hartford has three players averaging in double figures.  John Carroll leads the Hawks offense averaging 17.4 points per game.  Jason Dunne is right behind him scoring at a 15 point per game average,  The Bearcats top gun is J.C. Show averaging 15 points per game.

The game is part of a doubleheader between the two schools.  At the Events Center in Vestal the BU women host Hartford at 4:00 PM.  Both games will be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  Pregame coverage begins at 1:45.  At the conclusion of the men's game coverage from the Events Center begins with the women hosting the Hawks.
