The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team is back in action on Sunday afternoon following a break in the schedule for final exams.  BU travels to Fairfield, Connecticut to meet the Sacred Heart Pioneers who play in the Northeast Conference. This is the third all-time meeting between the two programs.  During the 1998-99 season when both played in the Division II New England Collegiate Conference they split a pair of games.  Each team won on its home court.

Heading into the break the Bearcats were red-hot.  They are riding a six-game winning streak and are 7-4. The six-game streak is the longest for a Binghamton team in nine years.

Sacred Heart is 5-6 and in their last game on December 11th fell to Hartford 86-72.  The Pioneers are led by Joseph Lopez who is averaging 13.8 points per game along with an average of 9.5 rebounds per contest.

Sunday's game begins at 1 PM (12:45 air on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Following Sunday's game the Bearcats travel to play Penn State at University Park on Tuesday night at 7 PM.  Binghamton's next home game is Friday, December at 7 PM.
