The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team looks for a road win tonight (Thursday) at 7:00 P.M.(air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF) with a visit to the Costello Athletic Center, the home of the UMass Lowell River Hawks.  The River Hawks are 6-6 in America East while the Bearcats are 3-8.  UMass Lowell is in fifth place in the conference while BU is in seventh place.

Earlier this season the River Hawks erased a 14-point second half deficit and defeated Binghamton 85-79 at the Events Center.  In the overall series the River Hawks own a 12-4 advantage.  The River Hawks are 7-1 at home against the Bearcats.  The teams began playing each other in the Division II days in 1999.

In the first meeting this seasons Sam Sessoms exploded for a career-high 32 points including 22 in the first half.  Caleb Stewart also had a stellar game scoring 22 points and grabbing 16 rebounds.

Binghamton returns home to host the top team in America East in the Vermont Catamounts who have lost just one conference game.  That game is set for 2:00 P.M. at the Events Center on Saturday.
