The Binghamton Bearcats men's team travels to Queens, NY to face the St. John's Red Storm out of the Big East Conference.  It will be the first time the two schools will meet on the basketball court.  The game is scheduled for a 6:30 PM tipoff (air at 6:15 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).

Both teams are coming off of opening night victories.  St. John's crushed Bethune - Cookman 100-53.  The Bearcats defeated the Cornell Big Red 68-62 at the Events Center.  The game marked the debut of transfer J.C.Show for the Bearcats.  Show led all scorers with 23 points.  Binghamton also got a big game from forward Dusan Perovic who scored 14 points.

Federico Mussini  paced the Red Storm in their win with 20 points.  They featured red-hot shooting hitting on 33-53 for 62 percent from the field and went 11-22 from beyond the arc.

St. John's is led by alum and Naismith Hall of Fame member Chris Mullin.  Mullin is entering his second season as the head coach of his alma mater.
