The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team downed the New Hampshire Wildcats this (Saturday) afternoon 68-61 at Lundholm Gymnasium in Durham, New Hampshire. The Bearcats completed the series sweep over the Wildcats by a final score of 68-61. It completes the sweep over New Hampshire this season as BU had defeated the Wildcats at the Events Center in January. It was the first Binghamton win at New Hampshire since 2014.

Freshman Sam Sessoms was the standout for Binghamton. He scored 28 points and made 10 of 19 shots including a trio of three-point baskets. Sessoms scored 21 points in the Bearcats' home win in January. Caleb Stuart also scored in double figures for Binghamton knocking in 16 points.

Jordan Reed scored 19 points to lead the Wildcats offensively. With the loss New Hampshire drops to 3-20 overall and 1-9 in America East. The Bearcats move to 7-18 overall and 3-7 in conference action.

Next up for Binghamton is a home game on Wednesday night when the UMBC Retrievers visit. The game begins at 7:00 P.M. with airtime at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
