The Binghamton Bearcats visit West Point tonight for a scheduled 7:30 tipoff  against the Black Knights at Christl Arena.  Airtime is set for 7:15 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.

The Bearcats are 2-4 while Army West Point is 2-5.  Last season at the Events Center Binghamton posted a 71-66 victory.  Overall Army leads the series 8-3 with a 6-1 advantage on their home court.

The Bearcats are paced by freshman Sam Sessoms who has been named the America East Rookie of the Week for the second time in the past three weeks.  He is averaging 17.8 points per game.

The Black Knights have three players averaging in double figures.  Matt Wilson leads the team in scoring and averages 14.9 points per game.  Tommy Funk is averaging 11.3 points per contest and Jordan Fox is scoring at a 10.7 points per game clip.

In the latest statistics from the NCAA Binghamton now leads the nation in blocked shots averaging 7.7 blocks per game.  Meanwhile, Thomas Bruce, America East's premier shot-blocker has not played at all this season for the Bearcats.  He remains sidelined in concussion protocol.
