BU Homecoming Weekend

Several thousand alumni are expected to return to campus this weekend for Binghamton University's Homecoming celebration.  A number of events are scheduled both on and off campus for returning alumni.

Binghamton's Athletic Department has a full slate of activities scheduled.  Festivities begin Friday evening at the Bearcats Sports Complex when the BU women hold their annual lacrosse alumni game beginning at 7:30 PM.  On Saturday afternoon men's soccer and men's lacrosse hold their alumni games at 1:00 PM.

BU's golf team holds its alumni event at the Links of Hiawatha on Saturday.  At West Gym beginning at 11:00 AM the swimming and diving teams open their seasons with a quad meet against Army, NJIT and Vermont.  Then on Saturday evening the Bearcats' men's soccer team hosts UMass Lowell at 6:00 PM.

An additional opportunity for alumni to gather is the annual tailgate party.  That will be held in the Events Center parking lot from 3-6 PM.  Men's soccer coach Paul Marco previews their match against the River Hawks Thursday morning with Roger Neel at 8:20 AM on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
