The Binghamton Bearcats could not hold off the Vermont Catamounts in men's lacrosse yesterday at the Bearcats Sports Complex on Senior Day.  Both teams needed a win to have any chance of advancing to the America East post-season tournament.  Ian MacKay scored with just ten seconds left to snap a 13-13 deadlock and give the Catamounts a 14-13 win.

Six Bearcat seniors were honored prior to the game.  They include: Tucker Nelson, Paul O'Donnell, J.T. Hauck, Anthony Lombardo, Matthew Kopp and Emmett O'Hara.  Nelson and O'Donnell each scored five points for the Bearcats in their last collegiate contest.

Bearcat Sean Gilroy had tied the game at 13-all with just 47 seconds left but MacKay spoiled the day with his winning tally.

With the win the Catamounts advance to the conference tournament when they face Stony Brook on Thursday.  Binghamton concludes its season with a 2-4 America East record and a 4-9 overall slate.
