Brothers Arrested in Cortland County

Two brothers were arrested by officers from the Cortland County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, November 21st at  around 7:30 P.M.  According to information released by the Cortland County Sheriff's Office deputies were serving an arrest warrant on 37 year-old Ronald Dingman at 5738 Telephone Road Extension in the Town of Cincinnatus.  Dingman is accused of pulling away and struggling with officers in an attempt to avoid arrest.  At that point 28 year-old Cody Dingman began to interfere in an attempt to assist his brother.

Officers were then able to take both into custody.  Ronald Dinghamton was arraigned in the Town of Cincinnatus Court that night and remanded to the Cortland County Jail in lieu of bail set at $500 or bond at $1,000.  Cody Dingman was released on an appearance ticket and scheduled to appear in Town of Cincinnatus Court on December, 19th at 7:00 P.M.
