Two brothers face felony charges after police confiscated heroin and pills from a Binghamton residence.

Authorities say investigators executed a search warrant at an apartment on Saint Cyril Avenue in the First Ward Wednesday morning.

Police seized seven grams of unpackaged powder heroin and five types of controlled substance pills. They also found drug packaging materials and digital scales.

According to the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force, 48-year-old Paul Michalski of Conklin Road, Conklin; and 47-year-old William Michalski of Saint Cyril Avenue, Binghamton, were arrested as a result of the raid.

Both men were charged with several counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. They also were charged with criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Investigators said the suspects were being held at the Binghamton Police Department pending their arraignment in city court.
