Broome County is holding a public meeting to discuss the flood mitigation plan being developed by the county Planning Department.

The meeting is at 5:30 p.m. September 17 at Cornell Cooperative Extension on Front Street in the Town of Dickinson.

The mitigation plan will identify flood impacts throughout Broome County and provide strategies for addressing issues at multiple locations.

The Department of Planning and Economic Development’s consultant, Woidt Engineering will update residents on what data has been collected and seek comments on any additional sites that may not have been listed so far.
