Larry W. Smith/Getty Images [file][/caption]Two people are in custody in connection with the discovery of what local police say was a methamphetamine manufacturing operation in Endicott and the Town of Berkshire.

New York State Police, along with Vestal Police executed a search warrant on Arthur Avenue in the Village of Endicott while a second search was conducted on Ballou Hill Road in Tioga County.

Troopers say 1 gram of methamphetamine, 3 ounces of methamphetamine oil, a ‘one-pot’ meth lab, solvents, lab equipment, 10 Hydrocodone pills, 14 Clonazepam pills and 3 marijuana plants were seized in the June 11 raid.

33 year old James English of Endicott is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and parole violation and was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.

29 year old Krista Hilliar of Newark Valley is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, two counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana.  She was sent to the Tioga County jail without bail.

The New York State Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team responded to Ballou Hill Road for the clean up of the meth lab components.
