Dozens of properties are being offered for sale to the highest bidder this month.

55 properties that had been placed under tax foreclosure are being auctioned off February 21 at the Holiday Inn in downtown Binghamton.

Bidders must register between 8:30 and 10 a.m.

The properties on the block in the latest round of county auctions include private residences, commercial properties, multiple family dwellings and even a waterfront cottage.

Last year the County made almost $237,000 selling off 42 properties.

Maps of the parcels to be auctions can be seen at the Broome County Real Property Tax Department on the second floor of City Hall during regular business hours.
