Broome Sports Foundation Auction

The Broome Sports Foundation is held its annual sports memorabilia and collector's auction during Saturday night's Binghamton Mets game against the Portland Sea Dogs at NYSEG Stadium.  Dozens of items were up for bid during the silent auction which took place in the concourse behind home plate.

Items available included: a Yogi Berra autographed book, a Bobby Richardson signed baseball, a Wilmer Flores autographed New York Mets Jersey, a Jose Reyes signed bat, a Jim Johnson signed photo, an Andy Pettite autographed photo and many more items.

Proceeds from the items auctioned off go to benefit the Tommy Mitchell Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Scholarships are awarded to outstanding student athletes who participate in baseball, softball and hockey and look to further their education.
