Broome Sheriff’s Deputies Say Squatter Stole Plumbing

An Endicott man is charged with felony criminal mischief and grand larceny for allegedly stealing copper piping and heating units from an apartment he was illegally occupying in the Town of Union.

Broome County Sheriff's officials say 32 year old Donald House was a squatter in the apartment when he allegedly cut out all of the copper pipes  and baseboard heating units and sold them for scrap.

He was sent to the Broome County Jail on $2,000 bail.
