The Broome County Sheriff's Office is thanking the public for stepping up with information leading to the capture of suspects wanted on outstanding warrants featured by the office in August and September.

Police had been looking for 18 year old Patrick Merritt in connection with an armed holdup last spring of the Run Way Food Market in Endicott that allegedly involved two other teens.

The Sheriff's office says shortly after being the featured as the Weekly Warrant, which aired on WNBF September 20, Merritt was found and arrested in the Town of Colesville.

Also arrested this week was a woman featured in August by the Broome County Sheriff's Warrant Division.

Ashley Wolfanger was wanted for grand larceny.  Authorities say tips generated by the Weekly Warrant Feature led officials to find her hiding in Towanda, Pennsylvania where she was arrested in spite of giving authorities a false name.

In a statement, Broome Sheriff David Harder thanked the public and police agencies for help in the Featured Warrant initiative.
