The Department of Motor Vehicles in Broome County is now mobile with an office open in Harpursville on Mondays and another office in Windsor on Thursdays.

Both offices will operate between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. with lunch breaks from noon to 12:30.

The Harpursville office is at the Eastern Broome Senior Center while the Windsor office is set up in the Town Hall.

The facilities are equipped to process driver licenses and registrations.

The new offices save residents in more rural areas a drive of a half hour to the nearest DMV.

More information about the Broome County DMV can be found at www.gobroomecounty.co.broome.nyenet/dmv.
