Broome County Sheriff’s investigators say they believe a knife-point robbery of a Hillcrest gas station December 12 is linked to similar robberies over the past few weeks in Binghamton, Johnson City and Hillcrest. 

Authorities say a man entered the Sunoco on Chenango Street just before 11 p.m. and threatened the clerk with a knife. 

As with past robberies, the suspect is said to be white, about 6 feet tall, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, black pants, and sun glasses.

City of Binghamton have posted a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in over a half dozen robberies just in the City over the past couple of weeks.
