Broome County’s String of Robberies Continues.

Bob Joseph/WNBF News

Broome County Sheriff’s investigators say they believe a knife-point robbery of a Hillcrest gas station December 12 is linked to similar robberies over the past few weeks in Binghamton, Johnson City and Hillcrest.

Authorities say a man entered the Sunoco on Chenango Street just before 11 p.m. and threatened the clerk with a knife.

As with past robberies, the suspect is said to be white, about 6 feet tall, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, black pants, and sun glasses.

City of Binghamton have posted a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in over a half dozen robberies just in the City over the past couple of weeks.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broome County Sheriff’s Detectives at (607) 778-2053.

In the City of Binghamton, Detectives can be contacted at (607) 772-7080.
