Authorities say 37-year-old Lyubov Thompson of Binghamton was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after she was stopped on Interstate 87.

Troopers say the vehicle Thompson was driving was pulled over for "multiple traffic violations" after she was reportedly operating in an erratic manner. The vehicle was stopped shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday.

Officials say the woman was transported to State Police-Albany where her blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.30 percent.

Because of the high level, Thompson was taken to Albany Medical Center for evaluation. She later was released to state police.

Thompson was issued appearance tickets for Bethlehem town court. She is to appear in court on May 17.
