Broome County Pharmacy Technician Accused of Stealing Drugs

A Binghamton woman is accused of falsifying records and taking prescription drugs from a local hospital while working as a pharmacy technician.29 year old Megan Gismot was arrested March 20th following an investigation by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement into a report of controlled substances missing from the hospital.

Gismot is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and felony falsifying business records.

She was released following her arraignment in Johnson City Village Court to await future court action.
