A Johnson City man is facing charges in Cortland County after being found stuck in a snow bank.

Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say they responded to Starr Road in Cortlandville March 7 at 10:52 p.m. to find 41 year old Michael Sipe trying to back out of a snow bank.

Authorities say they determined Sipe was intoxicated.

He’s charged with speeding, failing to use designated lane, felony driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breath test.

Sipe was sent to the Cortland County Jail on $1,000 bail.
