Brooklyn Teen Arrested in Johnson City Hold-up

A Brooklyn 19 year old is accused of robbing the Manley's Mighty Mart on Riverside Drive in Johnson City earlier this month.

Emmanuel Peterson was arrested for felony robbery following a search of a Medford Street, Binghamton residence.

Johnson City and Binghamton police say they found two handguns, heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and $1,300 cash in the search.

33 year old Jeffery Madison, who lives at the Medford Street home, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Both were sent to the Broome County jail to await further court action.
