A Bronx man wanted by the New York City Police for allegedly shooting and killing a 14 year old boy in May has been turned over to NYPD detectives after being apprehended in Johnson City June 13.

Village Police say they were informed of the possibility that Travis Bloch was in the area.  A Village Police Sergeant spotted Bloch standing on Main Street.

Officers and detectives approached Bloch at around 10 a.m. and he took off on foot.  He was arrested following a two block chase.

He’s charged downstate with murder in the shooting of Christopher Duran in the Bronx and attempted murder for a second shooting as well as felony weapon possession in connection with the two incidents.
