Members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force say a broken toilet stopped a Johnson City man's attempt to flush cocaine during a drug bust.

The S.I.U. executed a no-knock search warrant at a Grand Avenue apartment November 30th and found 37 year old Timothy Rock trying to flush crack cocaine down the toilet.  Police say they also found Rock in possession of drug packaging material.

Rock is charged with felony drug possession, felony evidence tampering and misdemeanor criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

He was sent to the Broome County Jail.
