Bradford County Pair Accused of Stealing Lots of Gas

Two Bradford County residents are accused of treating themselves, family and friends to gas at a Troy company’s expense.

Pennsylvania State Police say 25 year old Brett Tillotson of Canton is charged with felony counts of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and access device fraud while 26 year old Jessica Gowin of Columbia Crossroads is charged with misdemeanor counts of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and access device fraud.

Investigators say the pair is accused of stealing two separate fuel cards from Bristol Excavating Inc.

Gowin is accused of using one of the cards from April of last year through March of this year to obtain $1,683.23 worth of fuel for her vehicle. 

Tillotson is accused of using the other stolen card from August of 2013 through this past March to obtain $11,998.80 worth of fuel for his vehicles and vehicles owned by friends.

Both are to appear in court later this month.
