Bradford County Man to Be Sentenced For The Death of His Wife

A Monroe Township, Pennsylvania man will be sentenced July 24 for the death of his wife in their home during a domestic dispute in July of last year.

State Police were called to the home of 30 year old Scott and Patricia Kunkle and fund the woman unresponsive.

The woman was pronounced dead at Towanda Memorial Hospital and an autopsy concluded she died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head and internal injuries.

Scott Kunkle pleaded guilty to misdemeanor involuntary manslaughter June 9.

Authorities said the couple had both been under the influence of drugs known as ‘bath salts’.

Kunkle could be sentenced to up to five years in prison.
