Bradford County Man Faces Thousands of Rape Counts

Police in Towanda, Pennsylvania say they were told by witnesses that a Bradford County man had been dealing drugs and sexually abusing a girl since 1991.

55 year old Donald Burrell is charged with 51-hundred charges relating to sexual abuse for, what Pennsylvania State Police called non-stop abuse for over 20 years that started when the woman was seven years old.

The charges include thousands of counts of rape and dozens of counts of child pornography as well as over two dozen counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

Burrell is in the Bradford County Jail on $2.2 million bail.

According to the authorities, Towanda Borough police have alleged Burrell was dealing at least 700 grams of the synthetic drug referred to as ‘bath salts’ between 2011 and 2013.
