Bradford County Man Assaulted in Attempted Robbery

Kathy Whyte/WNBF News [file][/caption]Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a reported assault and attempted robbery at a home on State Route 4014 in Smithfield Township early in the morning of June 7.

The resident said three men broke into his home, attempted to get money from him and assaulted him at 1:52 a.m..

Two of the assailants were wearing ski masks and one had a handkerchief over his face.

The victim was taken to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre for treatment.
