Bradford County Man Accused of Raping a Girl for Years

A Bradford County, Pennsylvania man is accused of raping a girl over the course of over seven and a half years.

State Police say 37 year old Ricky Carter of Hughesville is charged with over 1,400 counts: 500 counts of felony rape and 300 hundred counts each of sexual assault, statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors as well as 10 counts of misdemeanor indecent assault.

Police say the now 17 year old girl was assaulted while she was between the ages of eight and fifteen.

Carter was sent to the Bradford County Jail on $200,000 bail.
