Bradford County Human Remains Identified

Officials in Bradford County, Pennsylvania have identified human remains that were found off Bennett Road in Burlington Township in January but are still investigating the cause of death.

Bradford County Coroner Thomas Carman says the skeletal remains are those of 51 year old Duane Scott Junior of Towanda.  Carman says there is no evidence of foul play.

The bones were found in a swampy area in woods off Bennett Road on January 11^th.

Coroner Carman says there were no indications of injuries prior to death and no recent traumatic injuries to indicate Scott was the victim of a crime.
