Body Found in Burned Athens Garage

An investigation is underway in Bradford County, Pennsylvania after a man’s body was found in a garage that was on fire on dogwood Avenue in Athens April 19.

47 year old Thomas Jack Simonds III spent the night in the garage owned by his brother.

His body was found in the garage at around 9 a.m.

Officials say due to the construction of the building, the fire went out on its own.

The cause of the fire and Simonds’ death are both under investigation.
