All the effort in preparing and working during Binghamton Restaurant Week is apparently well worth it.

A stop in the Washington St., Southside eclectic eatery not only was satisfying to the stomach, but pleasant conversation with server, Phil offered some interesting insights.

Kathy started with the tempura broccoli for an appetizer that was accompanied by a home-made Russian dressing, while dining partner, "The Husband" enjoyed the tempura battered onion rings with a teriyaki sauce.

That was followed with cups of steaming, Whole in the Wall famous mushroom soup. A cup was even filling!

Main courses were the new "Whole Enchilada" with the unusual presentation of greens, sprouts, cucumber and sour cream. Diners have choice of bean or chicken. The other, interesting main dish was the Perogi Lasagna with a creamy white
