The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team battled back from a 34-23 deficit at the half to give the Boston Terriers all they could handle before they defeated the Bearcats 77-65 December 3 at Case Gymnasium in Boston.

The Bearcats freshman forward Dusan Perovic set a new school record for points in a single game at the Division I level with 34.  The previous mark was set last season by Jordan Reed who scored 33 points in February against the Hartford Hawks.  Perovic scored 29 of those points in the second half.  He hit 11-18 field goal attempts, was 6-8 from three-point line and 6 - 6 at the free throw line.

Cedric Hankerson paced the Terriers with 21 points.  The wins up Boston's record to 2-4 while the Bearcats fall to 1-7.  Next up for the Bearcats is a home game against Penn this Saturday at 2 PM.
