The Broome County Sheriff's office says a 27 year old Binghamton woman is accused of illegally acquiring prescription pain pills from a local pharmacy. 

Danielle Phillips was arrested after a pharmacist at the CVS on Upper Front Street notified authorities that someone had impersonated a doctor and tried filling a false prescription. 

Investigators say they found out Phillips had allegedly successfully obtained Percocet pills previously from the pharmacy.

The pharmacist became suspicious when a second phone call was made for another prescription.

Phillips was arrested when she showed up at the drug store to try to get the phony prescription.

She is charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and attempted ciminal possessioin of a controlled substance.
