A Binghamton woman is facing a felony charge after New York State Police investigated a report of a vehicle driving northbound in the southbound lane on Conklin Road in the Town of Conklin October 17.

Troopers say they determined 21 year old Kayla Rigdon was driving while impaired by drugs.

She is charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, misdemeanor driving while ability impaired by drugs and traffic violations.

The authorities say they found Rigdon’s vehicle pulled over to the shoulder of Conklin Road at 11:41 p.m.

Officials say they determined she had been driving while under the influence of drugs and one of her passengers was two years old.

Rigdon’s been ordered to appear in Town of Conklin Court at a later date.
