Binghamton Woman Accused of Check Theft

A City of Binghamton woman is accused of having two forged personal checks belonging to another person and cashing them in the Town of Chenango.

27 year old Margo Zodikoff is charged with two felony counts each of criminal possession of a forged instrument and identity theft.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say Zodikoff got less than $1,000 from the victim’s bank account last February.

Zodikoff was taken into custody June 27 and released on her own recognizance following her arraignment.
