Some residents of Binghamton's East Side may be without water service for several hours next week because of a "major construction project."

A notice from the city water and sewer department is alerting people who live on Riverview Avenue and Wagner Street of work that's scheduled for Tuesday.

People who live on those streets may be without water service between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday. The actual time of the interruption may vary slightly.

The work will be done if weather conditions permit.

Low water pressure could occur during the day Tuesday for people who live on several nearby streets, including: Ardsley Road, Summit Avenue, Rossmore Place, Grandview Avenue and English Street.
