A case of mistaken identity has resulted in charges and the suspension of a Binghamton University wrestler.

Police say they arrested Cody Reed April 5th for allegedly trying to get into the wrong apartment. Authorities say Reed mistakenly thought a friend was inside the unit.  He was charged with criminal mischief and criminal trespass.

April 11th, he was suspended from the BU wrestling program.  The Athletic Department says Reed's suspension is until further notice for allegedly violating the student athlet code of conduct.

In March, head wrestling coach Matt Dernlan was suspended after being arrested in Iowa following the NCAA championships on an intoxication charge.
