Binghamton University added seven new members to its Athletic Hall of Fame in induction ceremonies at the Events Center on Saturday during Homecoming Weekend.  Included in the inductees were two standout athletes from the Greater Binghamton area, a long-time coach and team physician.

Among the honorees were:  Gina Bonante, Swimming from the Class of 1999; Charlene Cook, Softball from the Class of 1998 and originally from Johnson City; Jason Goldman, Wrestling from the Class of 1998  from Endicott; Dr. Douglas Kerr, Team Physician from 1984 - 2012  from Vestal; Andrew Magidoff, Tennis from the Class of 1995; Dave Schneider, Soccer from the Class of 2000; and Michael Starke, Men's Tennis Coach from 1987 - 2006 from Binghamton.

Over 250 people , the largest ever at  the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies, welcomed the new members.  Established in 1996 and held annually ever since, this year's inductees bring the total members to 85.
